My stage name is Catherine Cabo,
I invented it to tiptoe into this world made of imagination where I transform myself,
shot after shot, a model who is never the same, who puts herself to the test.
There is nothing that can force us to be one,
Otherwise, what would be the point of being an artist? Producing art, making beautiful things?
There are many ways to open up to people
through words, a smile, a gesture...and then there's the music.
Music doesn't lie.
Note after note, just like word after word,
becomes a love letter for all the effort you put into it.
You become grateful, but also demanding.
You spend hours alone in a room with yourself and your instrument,
in contemplation of what you create...with your breath, with your fingers.
The heart keeps up with the music, pumps the blood
towards the direction of happiness.
