VESTOPAZZO: A DAY OF TEAM BUILDING
Building value, emotions, and knowledge of self and others.
Social team building: getting to know others or yourself?
The correct answer is both.
Team building is a social experience, based on trust and discovery of the other.
But what do we mean by “other”?We're talking about those who stand beside us every day, but also those we meet for a mid-morning coffee,
who simply smiles at us in the corridors, or who we hardly ever see but has a world to discover inside.
Team, because you reach a goal as a community and no longer as an individual.
Building, because you give life to something beautiful, building value... or something more.
Through a social team building activity, Vestopazzo has contributed to the creation of games for children
destined for four different family homes, in collaboration with the Made in Team association.
Here’s our adventure!
A DIFFERENT SUNDAY
November 7. Wake up early! Sunday has just begun and this time it's going to be a little bit special.
Destination: Borgo di Tragliata, an ancient residence nearby Rome surrounded by green fields also known as an organic farm.
The Vestopazzo family reaches the meeting point. They gather before starting, everyone's question is: what are we going to do today and how?
The surprise comes with the division of the team into many small mixed groups. New faces, those who know each other better and those who don't, the objective is the same: to build an architecture in the shortest time,
combining their skills with those of their teammates. A challenge, which is competition and joining forces at the same time!
Each team has provided the guidance of a project leader of the association, allowing to perform the most technical operations in safety.
STEP BY STEP
Rule number one: live the experience to the full with empathy and a desire to have fun.
Everyone has concretely and manually added a piece of wood, a screw, a beam of a roof, up to build real games and wooden castles.
The division into mixed groups regardless of the role or department people belonged to, allowed everyone to discover the characteristics and skills of their neighboring colleagues.
The discovery of self and others is one of the core values of the Vestopazzo company.

Inspired by the company philosophy, the participants put into practice their attention to detail and the desire to do something special.
Making other people happy always brings something magical.

What is a team, in the end? In the case of Vestopazzo, it's a real family.
Away from the corporate context, the real challenge is to test oneself on something different and to overcome every difficulty together.
